2001 Season

What can we say about the 2001 Racing Season?  Ouch is probably a good description. The season opened by winning the first heat race of the season at Oxford.  Then things got tough as the racing at OPS was very rough.  #11 needed to be put back together almost every week.  There were quite a few DNFs.

There were still several highlights to the season however. Qualifying for the Oxford 250 for the second year in a row!  Also qualifying for the Pro-Stock Nationals down in Lee, NH where Scott thrilled the crowd (while scaring the heck out of his family and Pit Crew!) with a daring last lap pass to make the Big Race! When Scott made his move Big Joe said he could not watch.
